AmSpec announced today the expansion of its existing Alaska operations by opening the first independent testing laboratory in Kenai, Alaska.

“Based in Kenai since 2015, AmSpec Alaska is now capable of both product testing and inspection coverage in the state of Alaska,” says AmSpec’s Chief Executive Officer Matt Corr.

“AmSpec Alaska’s initial success since its inception two years ago was based on inspections of crude oil loadings across Cook Inlet to Kenai Peninsula but today I am pleased to say our highly trained staff is offering state-wide inspection and laboratory testing coverage including but not limited to Anchorage, Valdez, Homer, Kenai and all other strategic ports and terminals across the state of Alaska.”

“Our lab capabilities include testing for key parameters on crude oil, high sulfur fuel and vacuum gas oil as well as diesel and jet fuel,” added Mr. Corr.
