County Manager

 Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is mandatory

The Country Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all operations of AmSpec Colombia, ensuring the achievement of business objectives, operational excellence, and full compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.

This role acts as the primary representative of the company in the country and is accountable for the overall performance, profitability, and strategic development of the local operations.

• Lead and oversee all company operations within the country, ensuring alignment with AmSpec’s business objectives and corporate standards.
• Hold full accountability for the country’s financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, and cost control.
• Develop and execute the country’s business strategy in alignment with regional and global priorities.
• Drive business development and commercial growth by strengthening relationships with key clients, identifying new opportunities, and expanding the company’s market presence.
• Ensure full compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and AmSpec’s corporate policies, guaranteeing that services are delivered in accordance with the company’s technical standards, quality requirements, and client expectations.
• Represent the company before clients, authorities, and key external stakeholders.
• Build, lead, and develop the local team, ensuring an effective organizational structure and strong talent management.
• Maintain close coordination with regional leadership and corporate functions to ensure strategic alignment and proper governance.

Key requirements

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role with responsibility for managing operations and business performance.
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive business development and revenue growth.
• Solid financial management skills, including experience overseeing budgets, profitability, and cost control.
• Experience in the TIC (Testing, Inspection and Certification) industry and/or in Oil & Gas, commodities, or related technical service sectors.
• Solid understanding of regulatory environments, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
• Fluency in English required.
• Availability to travel as required.
