Cranbury, USA, — February 2, 2026 — AmSpec Group proudly announces the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art laboratory at Dubai Science Park, part of TECOM Group PJSC, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), marking a significant expansion of AmSpec’s Agri & Food Division across the Middle East. This strategic investment strengthens AmSpec’s global testing and inspection network and enhances its ability to support the rapidly growing agricultural and food sectors in the region.
The new laboratory in Dubai Science Park, the Middle East’s leading science-focused hub, expands AmSpec’s capabilities in delivering accurate, efficient, and trusted analytical services for agricultural commodities, animal feed, and food & beverage products, ensuring compliance with both regional and international standards. With this expansion, AmSpec continues to support its clients through advanced laboratory infrastructure, expert technical services, and high-quality testing solutions.
Spanning 1,000 m², the facility is strategically located near key transportation interchanges in Dubai, providing efficient access across the UAE, as well as proximity to major international airports and seaports. This location enables rapid logistics coordination for sample collection and delivery while supporting the country’s principal agricultural export and re-export corridors.
Equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation, the laboratory houses advanced technologies including liquid and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry, optical emission spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, ion chromatography, ultra-performance liquid chromatography, climate chambers, RT-PCR, and bomb calorimetry. These technologies enable high-precision analyses across a wide range of applications, including pesticide residues (over 900 compounds), broad-spectrum mycotoxins, residues of drugs and antibiotics, heavy metals, and genetic and molecular testing for transgenics and biological contaminants. Demonstrating AmSpec’s commitment to sustainability, the laboratory operates fully on solar energy.
Staffed by a team of more than 30 analysts and technical specialists operating 24/7, the laboratory reflects AmSpec’s commitment to analytical quality, operational reliability, and sustainable laboratory practices. Although newly commissioned, the facility is led by a senior technical team whose five most experienced members collectively contribute over 70 years of professional laboratory and analytical experience.
