This new location serves as both an inspection hub and a regional coordination center for Central Africa, strategically positioned in one of the region’s key oil and gas markets. From its base in Port-Gentil, AmSpec provides comprehensive coverage across Gabon, including Port-Gentil, Libreville, and Batanga, as well as major infrastructure such as the Cap Lopez and Gamba crude oil terminals. The location also enables efficient access to offshore operations, including Adolo (Dussafu), Etame, and Lucina terminals.
In addition to national coverage, the Gabon hub plays a central role in coordinating operations across Cameroon, Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Equatorial Guinea, strengthening AmSpec’s ability to support clients throughout Central Africa with enhanced responsiveness and operational efficiency.
AmSpec Gabon delivers a full range of inspection and supervision services for the oil and gas sector, including cargo quantity inspection and sampling for imported products such as diesel, gasoline, Jet A1, and LPG, as well as inspection services for export cargoes including naphtha, RAT, and crude oil. The company’s proximity to key infrastructure, including the Sogara refinery and Cap Lopez Terminal, combined with direct offshore accessibility, ensures fast mobilization and seamless execution of operations.
The initial team, composed of experienced professionals including a Branch Manager, Operations Manager, and senior cargo surveyors, reflects AmSpec’s commitment to combining local expertise with global standards.
