We are excited to show you around our new Petroleum and Biofuels testing laboratory in Bilbao, Spain. This 600 m2 facility represents a significant milestone in our commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality analytical and testing services to the energy and fuels sector.
Designed to meet international standards and the evolving requirements of conventional and renewable fuels markets, the laboratory combines advanced analytical technology, modern infrastructure, and highly qualified technical expertise under one roof. Strategically located near key industrial, port, and refining hubs in Northern Spain, the Bilbao lab ensures efficient access for sample collection, logistics, and close collaboration with clients.
The facility has been developed in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards, and all testing activities are performed in accordance with internationally recognized methods and regulatory standards. Our local management teams, comprised of a branch manager, a lab manager, and a regional manager, have combined industry experience of 60+ years.
Key testing capabilities include the analysis of petroleum and renewable fuel products as chemical products:
- EN 14214 – FAME (Biodiesel)
- EN 228 – Gasoline
- ISO 8217 – Fuel Oil and Marine Fuels/DMA
- Full UCO analytical slate for used cooking oil (UCO) characterization
- Full Naphtha DOW Spec analytical slate
- EN 590 – ULSD
