We are proud to announce the expansion of AmSpec’s Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Carbon Accounting team with the addition of two outstanding professionals: Dr. Alena Raymond and Mrs. Natalia Román. Together with Dr. Hong Jin, they form a powerhouse team delivering comprehensive LCA and greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting services across multiple industries.
AmSpec’s LCA services help clients quantify the environmental impacts of their products, processes, and supply chains. Our team supports regulatory compliance (e.g., CA LCFS, US RFS, 45Q, 45V), product carbon footprinting, environmental product declarations (EPDs), and the integration of sustainability into corporate strategy. We work across sectors—including energy, renewables, chemicals, manufacturing, agriculture, and construction—to provide credible, third-party verified assessments that support innovation and decarbonization.
Dr. Alena Raymond, a senior principal LCA practitioner based in California, brings deep technical expertise in LCA, GHG inventories, and sustainability analytics. With a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and extensive practical experience with energy transition projects, Alena will lead technical delivery of complex multi-sector LCA studies.
Mrs. Natalia Román, based in Uruguay, joins our LATAM team as a carbon footprint analyst specializing in agriculture and natural resource management. She has led impactful sustainability initiatives across Latin America and brings expertise in agricultural LCA, climate data analytics, and stakeholder engagement at the national, regional, and farm levels.
Dr. Hong Jin, based in Houston, continues to lead our LCA and carbon accounting services within the renewables sector. Her experience spans over a decade of LCA leadership in the oil and gas industry, biofuels certification, and regulatory advocacy. She is an accredited verifier under CARB and OR DEQ, and a recognized leader in lifecycle modeling and decarbonization pathways.
Together, Alena, Natalia, and Hong strengthen AmSpec’s position as a trusted partner in delivering full-spectrum LCA and carbon accounting solutions. Their combined expertise enables us to support our clients’ environmental reporting, compliance, and sustainability goals with data-driven, science-based insights.
