ADVANCED RECYCLABLES WASTE PLASTICS ANALYSIS

AmSpec offers Hard Plastic Testing (HPT) at our Houston Technical Center (HTC) in order to evaluate contaminants in hard plastics for our valued clients. We are also addressing the energy industry’s need for co-processing feedstocks and pyrolyzing plastics to create Waste Plastic Process Oil (WPPO) and other products.

  • Recognized the market need
  • Worked with VUV to develop the WPPO method D8519 (liquid)
  • Investing in both WPPO and hard waste plastics testing equipment and resources
  • Working with clients to establish their trace contaminant and other analytical needs in hard plastic waste
  • Working with the ASTM committees for both liquid plastic oils and hard plastic analyses (D.02 and D.20).
